A week after we were released from the hospital, we had Ryan's Birthday scheduled. Things were crazy (once new?) as we raced to keep up with our birthday party commitment.
In the meantime, Gma-Dor and Pop-pop had a big gift for Ryan and wanted to have a private moment to give their blessing to our little boy. So they gave Ryan his first birthday present for his third birthday. They opened up the door for Ryan's week of festivities!
So we met at Tumbleweed Park where Ryan discovered the gift had been in the van with him the whole time! 
Ryan was so excited and bewildered too! He helped Pop-pop get the heavy gift out of the van.
What could it be?
His first Bike!
Look at the sweet grin. He was so pleased! -- and a little nervous too!
Pop-Pop got the joy of being the first one to teach Ryan how to ride.
Under such loving instruction, Ryan took to it immediately.
Before we knew it.. he was off and riding. It was all we could do to keep up!
